Work Location: Corporate Headquarters – Pewaukee

Division: Fire Protection (Full Time, Exempt or Full Time, Bargaining)

Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Fire Protection Shop Foreman is responsible for shop production. 

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Member in good standing of applicable local bargaining unit with journeyman classification or equivalent.
• Years of Relevant Work Experience: 7 to 10 years relevant experience
• Licenses: Driver’s License
• Physical Job Requirements: Move throughout office, construction site, and general outdoor environments

Key Activities

1. Shop scheduling. Schedule shop production and notify Project Managers of job assignments.
2. Material/Consumable Management. Maintain appropriate level of material and consumable supplies while ensuring supplies are used and maintained.
3. Material Preparation. Picking material. Cutting, threading, grooving pipe for assembly according to drawings and lists.
4. Material Distribution. Pickup and delivery of material from vendors and to job sites.
5. Equipment Operation. Using tools like band saws, pipe threading machines, and forklifts to handle and prepare materials.
6. Equipment Maintenance. Maintain all shop equipment according to manufacturer specifications and recommend replacements or enhancements.
7. Strongly enforce all Company safety initiatives.
